The Queens Ukulele Club originated  in 2018  after a group of seniors participated in a beginning ukulele class offered through the Queens Public Library's Creative Aging Program. They wanted to continue to meet and play ukuleles together.  Ms. Younshin Kim, manager at the Glen Oaks Branch, provided the group with a weekly daytime space and the rest is history.

This uke-loving group welcomes new members of all levels. It will work out best if you own a ukulele and can play at least three chords:

C, F, and G7.  One of our friendly members will help you get acclimated.
